Athletic Clearance & Registration Information

***YOU MUST BE ENROLLED AT VALENCIA HIGH SCHOOL TO PARTICIPATE***

1.  VHS SUMMER ATHLETICS PROGRAM (SAP) REGISTRATION - OPEN May 6 - June 10, 2026! 

You must be registered with Valencia High School to attend the summer camps.  The Summer Athletic Packet and Schedules can be found here ---> Valencia SAP Packet 2026 - Google Docs. Once registration opens, you can select any program that you have an interest in attending. Participation in a summer athletics program is not required to make a team.  Follow the link below, select the program offering, and pay the registration fee.

  • Select "Summer Athletic Program" 

  • Select the camp or camps that you wish to participate in.

2. CIF ATHLETIC CLEARANCE - Go to www.athleticclearance.com and register your student for the 2026/2027 academic year. This process begins on May 6, 2026. 

• You will need the student # for the student. 

• If you are not registered for Valencia High School for the fall semester of 2026 you will need to register with the school before you do this step. 

• Fill in all the information requested. If you leave anything blank you will not be able to be cleared.

3. PREPARTICIPATION MEDICAL QUESTIONNAIRE - This is a new requirement from the district to complete your athletic clearance. Follow the link to access the google form and fill out all the required information. 

• If you answer “YES” to any question you will need to explain the “YES” answer in the space provided. 

• The link to the google form is here ---> 2025/26 Medical History Pre-Physical Exam Form 

• This form must be completed by a parent/guardian and not by the student. 

• This form can be filled out now.

4. PHYSICAL EXAMINATION - Valencia High School Athletes are required to have an annual physical examination. 

All physicals must be signed by a Licensed M.D., D.O., P.A. or NP.  No other type of Healthcare Provider will be accepted. Physicals must be performed with the athletes private Doctor or with the Doctor provided by Sports Medicine. Due to new district guidelines, physicals can no longer be completed by a Chiropractor.

• When the physical form is completed by your medical professional you will upload it to your athleticclearance.com account.

For your convenience the Valencia High School Sports Medicine Program partners with local Doctors to provide low-cost physicals on campus. This physical will cover athletes for all of the 2026-2027 school year including the fall, winter, and spring sports seasons.

Cost: $25.00 - Cash or Checks payable to Valencia ASB or pay online with credit/debit card available at ValenciaASB.com/ store
